Second, this is not the time to introduce such restrictions on industries. "Enforcing such a law will restrict industries from employing unskilled workers and will eventually derail their operations. We strongly oppose the law and demand that the government delay it or lower the bracket to 25% or less, along with incentives to accommodate such restrictions at a time when the industry is still declining to pre-lockdown levels, Goyal added.
Some of the industrialists have suggested that the government should consider providing subsidies and creating an environment to attract more industries. "We believe that Haryana's youth should be given work. There are two ways to provide employment. First, more large industries need to be established here. Second, the focus should be on developing skills of the youth of Haryana so that they can easily find a job," said Yadav.
